This work depicts human sexual intercourse, and depicts the exchanges between Ichiro Haga, a shunga researcher who ushered in the heyday of the Edo period, and his apprentice Yumiko Haruno. One day, Yumiko, who worked in a cafe, met the "shunga teacher" Haga, who stared at shunga without fear of being seen by others. Yumiko fell in love with Haga at first sight when he suddenly told her what shunga was, and decided to start taking shunga lessons at his home. The play is centered on the master-apprentice combination "Shunga Ai", and the editor of the shunga encyclopedia written by Haga and the sister of Haga's deceased wife are also involved, and the story unfolds from here.
