Max (Vincent Cassel) and his girlfriend are about to get married, but he unexpectedly sees his missing ex-girlfriend Lisa (Monica Bellucci). The past flashes back: they used to be a sweet couple, but they missed this relationship because they didn't hand over a letter to Lisa - this regret was caused by Lisa's neighbor Alice (Romane Bohringer), who had been secretly in love with Max for a long time. The letter that Max asked her to give to Lisa had actually been in her hands.
Now, Alice lives in Lisa's old apartment. When Max walked into the apartment to find Lisa, he saw Alice in front of him. The two had a relationship, and Alice finally got the man she had always dreamed of, and repeatedly set traps to make Max and Lisa pass by each other and never meet each other.
